Akua was received by Mother Katie Major, the Root Doctor/Midwife of the SC Low Country community of Yemassee SC. Akua witnessed the beautiful soul transition of her maternal Grandmother, while holding her hand, & observing her taking the last peaceful breath. Mother Major set me on the path of Holistic living in her 20’s, beginning with letting Akua know she had 5 Spiritual “Gifts”. Akua was raised in Roxbury, Mass by her father’s clan. She spent her summers on her paternal grandfather’s farm outside of Savannah, Ga.
Let’s get one thing straight, I use the herbal recipes of my Grandmother’s Grandmother, that Mother Nature seasonally provides, to make tinctures, teas, salves, elixirs & poultices, to bring the body back to optimum Health the way the Most High intended, that’s the definition of “THIS” Hoodoo Root Medicine Worker.
She experienced 40 years of severe migraines. At age 25, she had a negative reaction to a prescribed drug.which caused her to be unconscious for 6 hours. She is also a Victor of Breast Cancer and of Domestic Violence. Akua was a teen mother who gave her first born up for adoption after graduating high school, while residing at a Florence Crittion Home for unwed mothers. Her adult child was reunited with Akua in 1994 at age 24.
Akua set out to develop a lifestyle of Living Pain-Free & has been for over 20 years. Akua continues to live in a 24 ft. fully contained RV full-time. One highlight of this lifestyle was being a Campground Host during the Solar Eclipse in 2017 at the Indian Springs State Park near Macon Ga! It was told to me on many occasions that it was “Rare” to see a Woman of Color in this position. This was a very Spiritually transforming event, with a visit from a Falcon at my campsite, that remained with me for quite a while. Nature is my “church”. Everything, I witnessed was the Universe at work, with constant change and renewal!!

Sacred Women Temple is here to assist women who are Victors of Womb Anxiety. She is passionate about healing womb pain because she is a victor of childhood molestation & domestic violence. She experienced a miscarriage in my late 20’s between my second & third child, due to a faulty IUD device in the 70’s.

The video touched people in Australia, Norway, Greece, Paris, Germany, Canada, England to name a few! So many people resonated with my life & story of migraine headaches from childhood to adulthood! Organized an area based Massage Therapist Network that included therapists from all over the Metro Atlanta area. The highlight that stands out was doing a Massage Retreat at Centennial Park for the International World Conference of Herbal Life. My team and I had clients from all over the world in our massage chairs for 2 hours. Now that's networking!!!

Onxologist and Educator, on Hilton Head Island, SC. I offered a full service Nail salon experience and provided natural nail products for sale.. My clientele included Islanders and visitors from all over the world. She was an Educator for a manufacturing company Alpha 9. It included traveling to nail and trade shows to demonstrate the products, train and instruct the technicians on the proper use.
My greatest passion was providing service to the elderly and any one at the Nursing homes. She reinvented the business in 1996 by making it mobile to service those who could no longer drive to my shop. I was the only salon owner who stopped personally using acrylic products due to the toxic chemical affects. My migraines were more intense due to my profession.

Dr. Wilbert C Jordan The man in the picture with me without knowing it lead me on the path of Natural Healing and to focus on the Seasoned Women in my community without knowing it. At age 12 Dr. Wilbert was my Math and English tutor in Roxbury, Mass while attending college at Harvard. He guided my Healing Platform to work with Seasoned Women who are suffering from depression due to abuse as a child, in 2017 while I was visiting in California. I just found out today, Sept.11,2023 which would have been his birthday, that he had passed in April. Now, I know he is looking over me while I’m serving my community.
